It's time to take things to the next level. Imagination Detonation, otherwise known as ID, has graduated to the new level of ID+. You can see it here: www.idpl.us This site area will now operate as the 2008-2013 archives.
I hope you join me on this next, elevated journey. Issue eleven came out at the end of November.
Filled with great fall shots and interviews as always. One more to complete the 2013 set! This was a fun issue to make, packed with great spooky content
for Halloween and the month of October in general. Now that summer has officially been over for a few weeks now, I figured it was time to share these.
Goodtraits of a selection of folks I was lucky enough to spend time with this summer. Back for the ninth issue of Ludique with a new twist and visual appeal. Click here to read it!
Hard to believe we're already 3/4 of our way through the year.. some special I.D. news soon. Surprisingly, before this summer I had never attended a wedding before. The one I attended was not the typical kind you see in movies, where everyone dresses up very fancy and it's a formal affair. This wedding, of family friends Terry and Carly, was much more casual and relaxed. That fact is quite fitting and appealing to me, actually. I'm not one to wear a suit often (or frankly, not at all unless I have to). Combine this with the location of it being at a park on the river and some great grilled food and energy - well, let's just say it was a good first experience.
The new issue of Ludique is now up! For this edition it is based around my home of NYC so it's a particularly special issue to me. I'm going to keep it short this time, but there's a lot of great material as always so read by CLICKING HERE.
(p.s. I'm going to start uploading the blog much more again soon. Not kidding this time, ha. Got a lot of great images from summer that I want to share so keep your eyes peeled) I've had a basic general knowledge of HTML in the past, but in these last couple months since the school semester ended I have been taking time out to learn the art of coding websites. It's been one of the most frustrating tasks I've learned and requires a lot of patience, but it can be very rewarding. I took on the challenge of re-designing the Ludique Magazine website, a publication I started at the beginning of the year, and just launched it with the new issue that came out (cover on that below). With everything from design to functionality to multiple platform compatibility - there's so many aspects to consider when creating a website. I will be continuing to adapt it but check it out now to see how it is. And of course, I'm proud to present another new issue of Ludique.
This month felt like the most natural yet, I think we're finding our groove more and more each month. Hope you guys are enjoying it. The new issue of Ludique is out now. Really proud of the content we're putting out.
Website redesign coming soon too.. It's only going to get better so stay tuned. I'm thankful that I have the independence to run a magazine like this. Plus, this website which will be turning five in a few months. Freedom of art. Is that even a term? If not, it should be. Hope everyone has a good Fourth of July! |
